Our Studio Build Philosophy
At Fleischmann Media, LLC. we believe that to serve our clients in the best possible way means that we need to have the best possible gear. Sadly, nowadays anyone can grab a cheap USB microphone, hop in a a closet, and call themselves a Voice Over Artist. At Fleischmann Media, LLC. we have a higher standard then that, and would never consider serving our clients in such a way. See, our philosophy about isn't so much about using "Expensive Gear" as it is about walking in integrity within our business. At the core, the reason we use the best gear possible is to give the client the best possible product - And to us this is one way how we attempt to walk in integrity to those we serve. The Recording Booth
All recording is done in a 4′ x 6′ Enhanced Double Walled Whisper Room with Bass Traps and 4" Auralex Foam Panels. For those that don't know Auralex foam panels are professional grade foam panels
The Microphone
The primary microphone we use is the Neumann TLM 103 Large Diapham Condenser Microphone in the Neumann EA 1 MT Microphone Shock Mount. There is also a Fethead attached to it to keep my Pre-Amps turned down lower. Additionally, for specific jobs we will use the Sennheiser 416 shotgun microphone, which is also part of our studio.
Audio Interface
The Universal Audio Apollo Twin MKII Duo Audio Interface is the Audio Interface of choice for Fleischmann Media, LLC. The Apollo Twin MKII Duo Audio Interface sits outside of the Whisper Room on the desk to help ensure the quietest recording environment possible. For those that are interested we also use three UAD Plugins - The Manley VOXbox, the API Vision Channel Strip, and C-Vox.
Studio Monitors
Part of delivering the best possible Voice Over to our clients involves editing, and we use the Yamaha HS5 active studio monitors so we can edit accurately. The Yamaha HS5 Studio Monitors are professional level studio monitors that are in some of the most well-known studios around the word and that's why we at Fleischmann Media trust them.
Recording Software
At Fleischmann Media, LLC. we pride ourselves on customer service, and part of that customer service philosophy centers around being flexible to meet various client needs. To that end Fleischmann Media has invested in several different recording programs to ensure that we are compatible with clients who may want or need their recording done in a specific recording software. Unless otherwise specified we are currently using Studio One as our primary recording software. Currently Fleischmann Media's recording software includes the following:
- Pro Tools
- Studio One
- Reaper
- Twisted Wave
- Luna
- Audacity
Specialized Software
At Fleischmann Media, LLC. we don't just settle for having great recording software, we also have invested in professional audio editing software called iZotope RX-8. This software allows us to clean up a lot of audio situations that previously would be almost impossible.
Video Recording Gear
Although maybe something you wouldn't think should be in a Voice Over Recording Booth Video Recording Gear is Critical for providing the best possible customer service. At Fleischmann Media, LLC. we offer a Free 15 Minute Voice Over Video Consultation for those who may have additional questions or specific instructions they would like to share with us.
