How the First Audiobook Narrator Coaching Session is Structured
Typically, Coaches will not post the structure or layout of their coaching session because others will undoubtedly try to copy it and steal business away. However, I believe you as the Coaching Student have the right to know and understand prior to purchasing how your first Coaching Session will be structured. The times indicated below may very slightly depending on how the conversation flows, but they are a good point of reference.
First 15 Minutes – We get to know one another. You talk to me about who you are, your background, and your goals with Audiobook Narration. Understanding who you are and your goals better helps me see the bigger picture. This is a critical first step to helping me see where you’re currently at and how I can help you get to where you want to be.
Second 15 Minutes – I gather information regarding your environment, gear, and studio. What I do here is analyze the information you give me to see if there are any potential issues that stand out.
Third 15 Minutes – We discuss your first issue, problem, concern, or question. This first topic should be your top priority and your current hinderance to Narrating and Producing a great sounding Audiobook. Depending on how intense this initial topic is we may or may not have time for additional topics to discuss. Everyone comes with a different set of issues, and there’s no way for me to know how involved your topic may be. However, I will do my best to communicate my feedback in the most efficient manner possible to enable you to have more time to as more questions.
Fourth 10 – 15 minutes – We will either continue to discuss your initial topic, or we will move on to your second issue, problem, concern, or question. During this last 10 – 15 minutes please be mindful of the time as I will need to wrap up at exactly one hour to ensure I am available for the next Audiobook Narrator Coaching Student.
Last 5 Minutes – We wrap up our time together, at which point if you need further clarification regarding anything I can provide that. If you desire to continue our Audiobook Narrator Coaching Sessions then the second session will allow us to take an even deeper dive into some of your issues, problems, concerns, or questions as we will have almost the entire time to discuss these topics. Furthermore, if you want to make this an ongoing Coaching Session then please discuss this with me during the last 5 minutes or so.
